Job Summary:

Data Architect Position Overview

As an accomplished Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients' data strategies. With expertise in database management systems and modern distributed architectures, you will lead the development of scalable, domain-aligned target-state data models to support application decoupling and cloud-native service delivery.

You will be responsible for assessing existing monolithic data models, identifying dependencies and shared schemas, and designing data partitioning, ownership boundaries, and communication patterns between distributed components. Your collaboration with application architects, integration teams, and domain owners will ensure seamless alignment of data models with service boundaries.

A strong focus on data security, compliance, normalization, and performance is crucial in this role. You will also provide guidance on data migration, transformation, and reconciliation strategies during the separation process.

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data modeling.
  • 5+ years of experience working with database management systems (schema design, performance tuning).
  • 3+ years of experience designing data models for distributed architectures.
