Key Account Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Key Account Receivable Specialist.

  • This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day calls/queries relating to billing processes, providing timely updates and progress reports to senior management.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with day-to-day calls/queries related to billing processes and provide timely updates to senior management.
  2. Responsible for managing and recovering outstanding payments from customers, including negotiating payment plans, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  3. Investigate and address customer concerns related to billing, payments, or account discrepancies.
  4. Download bank statements for all accounts and ensure that cash is applied only based on defined process without exceptions.
  5. Collate remittances for Cash/Wire/Cheque payments received and apply to correct invoice using Remittance Advice from customers or related collectors.
  6. Reconcile orders to match customer books, validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund.
  7. Provide details of un-applied and unidentified cash to all collectors daily and follow up proactively to get details of applications.

Requirements:

  • Graduates and/or postgraduates with 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • End-to-end knowledge in AR (Accounts Receivable).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Billing & Invoicing, Cash Application, Customer Reconciliation.

Skillset:

  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • High energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountability.
  • Oral and written communications skills in English.
  • Capability to work under time pressure in a dynamic business environment.
  • Computer literate in various tools.
