Job Title: Java Backend Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Java Backend Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in application support, particularly in Java, Jenkins, and Oracle DB Administration.

The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise to ensure stability, performance, and reliability of critical enterprise applications.

You will work closely with multiple IT teams within our organization, utilizing tools such as Ansible, Liquibase, Jenkins, Checkmarx, NexusIQ, AppDynamics, and Splunk.

Familiarity with Linux, Oracle, MQ, WMB, WAS, WLP, and security protocols is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for Java-based backend applications.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, integrating tools for code quality, security checks, and artifact management.
  • Perform end-to-end Oracle Database administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
  • Monitor application and database performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Support release management and ensure compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely updates and technical insights.
