Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to lead our Travel Insurance Product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product's underwriting process, including policy development and revision, as well as coordinating with operations and claims teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • To oversee the underwriting process for Travel Insurance Products, ensuring compliance with set guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient processing of travel insurance applications.
  • To work closely with sales, operations, and claims teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • To conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., insurance, business, or finance).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in underwriting, preferably in the general insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other software tools.
Competencies
  • Underwriting skills for Travel Insurance, Group Health, and Group Personal Accident.
  • Ability to handle IT projects from end-to-end.
  • Working knowledge of IT systems and software.
  • Market intelligence and research skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
