Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior IBM i Developer.

  • The ideal candidate will possess expertise in RPGLE and AS400 programming, with a strong background in Integrated Language Environment (ILE).
  • Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining high-quality applications, designing and implementing complex programs using ILE, and creating and debugging RPG/CL programs with precision and efficiency.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates should have:

  • A minimum 5+ years of experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming.
  • Expertise in Integrated Language Environment (ILE), including proficiency in creating and debugging RPG/CL programs.
  • Ability to create sub-procedures, subroutines, and service programs to meet client requirements.
  • Knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files, as well as experience with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
  • Familiarity with Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript for added advantage.
