About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Mumbai. As a key member of our Conglomerates team, you will be responsible for driving business decisions and navigating complex sales engagements with our largest Indian accounts.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop unique SAP enterprise-wide solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Tie economic and industry drivers to implications for customers' businesses.
  • Monetize the value that SAP offers to customers.
  • Lead C-level conversations about financial directional benefits and progress on strategic business imperatives.
  • Link product and service value with deal price to overcome pricing objections.
Your Success Factors
  • Preparation of complete plans outlining steps customers must take to reach informed decision points.
  • Creation and delivery of insights leading to differentiation.
  • Positioning disruption in customers' sub-industries to create urgency for transformation.
  • Positioning advantages and challenges of various digital framework implementation engagement models.
Managing the Account as a Business
  • Aligning customer strategic goals with SAP's competitive differentiators and mapping to SAP solutions.
  • Orchestrating, influencing, and leading VAT team functions and geographies to identify innovative viewpoints.
  • Aligning SAP and customer stakeholders to the 4-Panel cadence model.
Demand Management & Pipeline Health
  • Using SCP Analytics Tools to manage pipeline.
  • Understanding key indicators of pipeline health (Coverage, Pace, Balance, and Quality).
  • Creating demand generation plans leveraging multiple sources and sales support teams.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with 8+ years of experience in complex business software/IT sales through consultative selling methodology.
  • Demonstrated success in complex sales campaigns in fast-paced, competitive markets with strong negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex organizations and apply risk-mitigation strategies.
Location and Benefits

This role is based in Mumbai and offers a competitive salary. Estimated annual salary: $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
