Leading IT Development Manager

Our team is seeking a skilled IT Development Manager to oversee the development of applications and products. This role involves providing expert knowledge and leading the development process in line with the technology roadmap and standards.

The successful candidate will focus on supervising a team who develop programme logic for new applications and products, or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. This may also include elements of technical testing.

Typically, this role reports to the Senior IT Development Manager. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proven working experience in translating architecture requirements into software specifications
  • Exposure to work in DevOps or Agile Scrum delivery teams
  • Proven working experience in implementing services based on Node Js and React Js
  • Proven working experience in implementation, test, and deployment of Micro-Services and AWS serverless services
  • Proven working experience in implementing large, distributed, scalable solutions
  • Very good working experience in implementation and test of REST APIs, Design Patterns, and NoSQL
  • Ability to lead a team of more junior developers (5-10)
  • Knowledge of implementing services for public and private clouds
  • Broad working experience with continuous integration and test-driven development
Good To Have:
  • Good knowledge of frameworks (React Native)
  • Familiarity with development tools (VS Code, GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Cloud computing using AWS services
