Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects from conception to completion. This will involve reviewing drawings and computations to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review drawings received from clients and compute scope of work
  • Check MTO for scope of work and materials received at the yard
  • Plan and schedule project targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Review Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and follow requirements
  • Purchase requisition for procurement of materials
  • Review vendor proposals for specifications and quantity
  • Maintain materials control charts and reconcile free-issued materials by clients
  • Handle manpower and tools/equipment at site

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • A diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution
  • Additional qualifications include a diploma in Piping Engineering and Design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is essential
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is required
  • ASNT Level II Qualifications in RT/UT/MPI and LPT are highly desirable
