Job Description:
  • To provide credit expertise to assess the credit risk of borrowers and ensure that loans are extended with minimal risk.
  • Detailed financial analysis is performed to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers, covering aspects such as their business model, working capital cycle, profitability, and market trends.
  • The Credit Note is prepared comprising of detailed transaction structuring/assessment with a focus on the assessment part of the sought credit facility.
  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources including financial statements, industry reports, and internal databases to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular interaction with collections / sales to track delinquencies and study delinquent cases with a view to derive learning and sharing the same with the team.
  • Meet customers at regular intervals to understand various industry & markets.
  • Prepare/amend the note / financial model with correct information (gathered via business team / public domain / other resources).
  • Critically evaluate the transaction risk, business & Financial risk of the borrower as well as industry risk involved in any given industry.
  • Identify relevant and associated risk as aforementioned and to submit appropriate mitigate against each.
  • Develop market intelligence by engaging with people in other banks and FIs their policies, focus area, portfolio health.

  • Solid understanding of finance, accounting, and economics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience in banking or financial services is an asset.
