Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Battery Management Systems Engineer to perform functional and validation testing of BMS hardware and software. The role involves ensuring proper communication between Battery Management Systems (BMS) and CAN bus protocol for lithium-ion battery packs used in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Energy Storage Systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical/Electronics/Embedded Systems, knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, EV systems, and BMS architecture. Experience with CAN bus protocol and diagnostic tools is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional and Validation Testing: Perform testing and validation of BMS hardware and software to ensure it meets the required specifications.
  • CAN Protocol Testing: Conduct CAN protocol testing, including message monitoring, debugging, and analysis to ensure seamless communication between BMS and CAN bus.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document test cases, test results, and prepare detailed reports on testing activities.
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of BMS issues and collaborate with design and R&D teams to improve system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Embedded Systems or related field.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, EV systems, and BMS architecture.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and reporting ability.
