Electronic Systems Designer

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Systems Designer to spearhead the development of power electronics systems.
  • The successful candidate will define system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering aspects.
  • Responsibilities include guiding printed circuit board (PCB) layout for high-power designs, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance, and thermal management.
  • Additionally, you will drive validation and testing of prototypes in laboratory and vehicle environments.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety.
  • Select and integrate components such as microcontrollers (MCUs), analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), operational amplifiers (op-amps), shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, and adhere to automotive standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in electronic systems design engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics systems, including battery management systems (BMS) and battery management interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, and automotive standards.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
