US Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a seasoned professional to manage the processing of payroll for our clients. This individual will ensure timely and accurate execution of payroll functions, working closely with our US teams and clients.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing and supporting weekly/monthly/bi-weekly payroll processes, as well as strong communication skills for understanding client requirements and business discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 100% accuracy while running payroll.
  • Process stop payments and re-issue as required.
  • Wage garnishment deduction setup administration based on order.
  • Monitor and handle ACH rejects.
  • Research payroll tickets/query.
  • PAYROLL STATE REGISTRATION (SIT/UI/LOCAL TAXES).
  • Preparation of final check (termination) based on state compliances.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Rippling, ADP Run, ADP WFN, Trinet, Paylocity, Justworks, etc.
  • Ability to produce various required payroll reports from respective systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • Maintain efficient communications with clients, employees, and vendors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing in accordance with procedures & client requirements.
  • Pre/post-payroll and tax reconciliation.
  • Strong time and priority management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets).

Knowledge and Awareness:

  • Familiarity with Form 940, 941, W-4, W-2, I-9, FICA, SUTA, etc.
  • Awareness of health benefits, 401k, state tax filing (SIT/UI), TPA administration, workers' comp insurance, including monopolistic states.
  • Gross-up/non-gross up bonus/commissions.
  • Overtime calculation based on respective state guidelines.

  • Experience in onsite/offshore model and client-facing role at individual capacity.
