Computer Science Research ProfessorAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Research Professor in Computer Science Engineering to lead our research initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience in securing external funding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced research projects in Computer Science Engineering, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Publish original research in top-tier international journals and present at premier conferences.
  • Mentor PhD scholars and research students, guiding their research work and development.
  • Secure external research funding through grants, consultancy, and collaboration with industry partners.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary research and foster collaborations within the university and with external institutions.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote research culture.
  • Provide expert advice on research policy, strategy, and development within the department and university.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in research, teaching, or industry.
  • Demonstrated excellence in research through publications in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale research projects and secure funding.
  • Experience in supervising doctoral research scholars.
  • Strong expertise in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.
