Deputy Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Maintenance Manager to join our team.

  • This role will involve reporting directly to the Plant Maintenance Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of all plant maintenance activities.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation) and have at least 10 years of experience in a large Dairy, Food, Pharma Plant In Maintenance & Utilities Management.
  • Key qualifications include Energy Manager, Boiler Engineer, TPM Facilitator, Six Sigma certification, and a proven track record of managing large teams effectively.
  • Experience with Milk Processing, Evaporator & Dryer, Cheese Plant Equipment, Utilities Equipments, Advanced Maintenance Practices, Cost & Energy Saving Ideas, and execution of Plant KPIs is essential.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for people management, analytical thought process, liaisoning with Govt Agencies, CapEx, Project Execution, Knowledge of AI & ML Application, and EMS skills.

Nature of Experience:

  • Operating equipment like Pasteurisers, Separators, Bactofuge, Vacuum Pumps, DSI, High Pressure Pumps, Blowers, Fluid Bed, Sifter, Cheddar Master, Cooker etc.
  • Managing utilities equipment such as Boiler & Steam Network, Ammonia & Freon Based Refrigeration System, Compressed Air & Nitrogen Generation System, VAM, RO & UF, Sand & Carbon Filters, Pumps, DG Sets, Transformers etc.
  • Implementing advanced maintenance practices like RCA, CAPA, MTBF, MTTR, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, Electronics Equipment Monitoring Tools & Tackles.
  • Preparing and monitoring maintenance budget, setting and improving energy standards, identifying and executing cost & energy saving ideas.
  • Executing and achieving plant KPIs like Productivity, Losses & Complaint Reduction, Specific Energy Consumption, Production Lines OEE Improvement.
  • People management: capable of managing a team of 100 people, identifying training needs, performance assessment, and inculcating a human safety culture.
  • Liaisoning with government agencies like Factory, Boiler & Electrical Inspector, MSEB, Local Administration.
  • Experience in CapEx, Project Execution, knowledge of AI & ML Application, EMS would be an added advantage.
