Job Title: System Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering applications in AWS/Azure cloud, with a minimum of two years of experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing production support and application administration to business and web applications, 3rd party applications, and related ecosystems. This includes working on all types of production support activities, attending help requests, installations, configurations, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

The System Operations Specialist will also work on application design and deployment projects, change management, and monitoring. They will be expected to have excellent technical understanding of n-Tiered Microsoft platforms and application architectures, as well as strong expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BS/MS degree with about five years of solid experience as an application support administrator, primarily in a Microsoft oriented IT environment.
  • Excellent knowledge in administering applications in AWS/Azure cloud with a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of common network protocols (HTTP, FTP) and SSL along with knowledge of debugging network related issues using various available tools like Wireshark.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases.
