Job description

Must have:

Primary Skill - Designing scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks (PySpark/Scala).

Secondary skill - Integrating Databricks with other Azure services like Data Lake Storage, Synapse, Event Hubs, Key Vault etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Deploy Cloud Solutions: Develop and deploy Azure Function Apps for event-driven data processing and automation.

Integrate and Optimize: Integrate Databricks with other Azure services, optimize Spark jobs for performance and cost-efficiency.

Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Azure Databricks Experience: Strong experience with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala).

Cloud Development: Proficiency in developing Azure Function Apps using C#, Python, or JavaScript.

Infrastructure as Code: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).

Data Governance: Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar certifications.

Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
