Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data governance principles and practices, with a proven track record of implementing effective data management strategies. As a Data Governance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data governance initiatives that drive business value and promote a culture of data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions to improve data accuracy and reliability.
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks to promote data ownership, accountability, and stewardship.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, and metadata repositories to support data discovery and reuse.
  • Provide technical expertise to support data-related projects and initiatives, including data architecture, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
  • Maintain and enhance data governance capabilities through continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex data-related issues.
