As a Freelance Azure Data Factory Specialist, you'll drive business growth by leveraging strong expertise in Azure ADF pipelines, data orchestration, and transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines for ETL and ELT processes ensuring smooth and efficient data flows.
  • Integrate diverse data sources including on-premise, cloud, structured, and unstructured formats.
  • Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency through rigorous analysis and optimization.
  • Implement data transformations, mapping, and workflow orchestration using Azure best practices to meet business requirements.
  • Configure triggers, parameters, and dynamic pipelines in ADF while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet business objectives and provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and pipeline design.
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, and Key Vault.
  • Experience in parameterization, linked services, datasets, and integration runtimes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD for ADF pipelines).
  • Knowledge of Azure Monitor / Log Analytics for pipeline monitoring.
  • Familiarity with JSON-based ADF configurations.
