Data Transformation Specialist

About the Role
- Create and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake to drive business insights.
- Leverage SQL scripting to develop complex queries and transformations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver results.
- Develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows.
- Evaluate and ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to data processes and workflows.
- Advise on data governance and security best practices.
- Lead or participate in data migration projects to ensure seamless data transfer and integration.
- Utilize Jira or similar agile systems to manage tasks and collaborate with teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.
- Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms.
- Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models.
- Experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems.
- Demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
