Job Title: Senior Property Law Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Legal Manager to join our team at Ring. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough legal due diligence of property documents for Loan Against Property (LAP) proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive title investigations to ensure the title, ownership, and encumbrance of properties are clear and marketable.
  • Draft, review, and finalize loan documentation, including mortgage agreements, sanction letters, and other collateral agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to internal teams on matters related to property laws, mortgages, and financial services regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies, as well as RBI and other regulatory guidelines in LAP operations.
  • Work closely with the Credit, Ops, and Sales teams to resolve legal queries related to loan processing.

Requirements:
  • LLB/LLM from a reputed university or institution.
  • 5+ years in legal roles, with specific experience in Loan Against Property or similar secured lending functions.
  • Strong knowledge of property laws, transfer of property, and mortgage laws in India.
  • Excellent drafting, vetting, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset to assess and mitigate legal risks.

Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum.
