Nutrition Program Lead

We are seeking an experienced Nutrition Program Lead to manage our nutrition-focused initiatives and proposals. As a key team member, you will be responsible for strategic planning, pipeline development, RFP management, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end grant administration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health nutrition, food program development, research, and policy. A PhD or Master's in Public Health Nutrition, Food and Nutrition Sciences, Community Health, Global Health, Public Health, or related disciplines is preferred. The candidate should possess 5-10 years of experience in public health nutrition, food program development, research, and policy, with prior experience in philanthropy and grant making being an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of nutrition-specific and sensitive concepts and proposals;
  • Evaluate relevant concepts and proposals for grantmaking;
  • Support the organization of sectoral meetings, roundtables, consultations, and workshops;
  • Oversee program implementation, monitoring, and supervision;
  • Facilitate timely grant reports and fund disbursements to grantees;
  • Create high-quality content for diverse audiences;
  • Support the development of annual work plans and budgets collaboratively;
  • Maintain relationships with grantees and partners.

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's in Public Health Nutrition, Food and Nutrition Sciences, Community Health, Global Health, Public Health, or related disciplines;
  • 5-10 years of experience in public health nutrition, food program development, research, and policy;
  • Prior experience in philanthropy and grant making is an asset;
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, innovation orientation, strategic thinking, and planning skills;
  • Excellent communication skills with command over spoken and written English;
  • Knowledge of grassroots' realities and social complexities;
  • Proactive, self-starter, who can work collaboratively;
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in computer skills (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, Google Suite).
