Our facility seeks a skilled Biomedical Service Technician to ensure the safe operation of medical devices.

The primary role involves disinfection, electronics checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to guarantee devices are in optimal condition for redeployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disinfect and clean medical devices according to established protocols.
  • Inspect devices for functional issues following patient usage.
  • Replace components and consumable parts as needed.
  • Maintain calibration logs and perform routine quality control checks.
Troubleshooting & Basic Repairs:
  • Diagnose control unit electronics issues and perform minor repairs.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team for advanced repairs or escalations.
  • Update software/firmware if required.
Device Deployment Support:
  • Responsible for device pickups and installations at hospitals/home-care centers when necessary.
  • Deploy new devices/rental devices as per requirement.
  • Provide basic usage training to nursing staff/caregivers during deployments.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain service logs, device usage hours, complaints, and interventions.
  • Prepare monthly reports for operations and product teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • B.Tech/Diploma/ITI in Electronics/Biomedical Engineering or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience servicing medical equipment (e.g., infusion pumps, suction machines, ventilators, patient monitors).
  • Hands-on skills in basic electronics troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with hospital infection control practices is a plus.
Key Skills:
  • Technical aptitude in electronic devices/medical equipment.
  • Good communication skills for hospital coordination.
  • Ability to maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Willingness to travel locally for device pickups/deployments when necessary.
