Regulatory Compliance Expert

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead the homologation process for retrofit emission control devices and automotive products, driving technical and non-technical activities, leading the homologation team, and ensuring successful project completion that meets regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop enhanced homologation strategies and roadmaps for retrofit emission control devices and automotive products.
  • Establish and manage relationships with test agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring effective strategy execution and timely completion.
  • Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
  • Effectively manage resources to meet project needs.
  • Take full ownership of homologation-related projects within the organization.
  • Foster a culture of process-driven ideas across the engineering team, promoting cross-functional teamwork and open communication.
  • Work in ambiguity while maintaining team focus and motivation.
  • Manage external homologation partners and provide guidance on homologation requirements.
  • Establish necessary contacts for regular regulatory information exchange.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and homologation partners.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with changing priorities.
