Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to drive the adoption of cloud and cloud-native strategies across various industries.

This role involves formulating and executing sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives, building modernized applications on cloud platforms, and educating customers on the value proposition of cloud.

The ideal candidate will have experience with hyperscaler platforms, knowledge in selling scalable solutions, and expertise in full-stack web application development. Additionally, they should have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking with executives and developers, and demonstrate thought leadership through publications and public speaking.

The selected individual will work closely with senior technical individuals and key stakeholders to enable them to become cloud advocates. They will identify and recommend hyperscaler services that align with clients' goals and act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and architects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Buid, modernize, and migrate applications on cloud platforms.
  • Educate customers on the benefits and value proposition of cloud.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the architecture community.
  • Build relationships with senior technical individuals and key stakeholders.
  • Recommend hyperscaler services that align with client goals.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and architects.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Skills:
  • 10+ years of systems engineering, software development, or application architecture experience.
  • At least 3 yrs Experience with hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge in selling, solutioning, or architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Expertise in full-stack web application development in Java, .Net, Python, Go, C#, JavaScript, Node, Angular.
  • Experience with services/micro-services development and relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Expertise in open-source technologies and NoSQL/RDBMS such as Couchbase, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.
Preferred Qualifications

A certification in AWS or Azure is preferred, along with experience in delivering comprehensive solution summaries and providing detailed cost estimates for cloud infrastructure and migration plans.
