Lead Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Lead Database Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the administration of our database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL. They will be responsible for managing database backups, implementing security measures, and ensuring data integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Database Administration: 7+ years of hands-on experience in production environments.
  • PostgreSQL Expertise: Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, architecture, and tuning.
  • HA and Replication Solutions: Proven experience with Patroni, repmgr, pgBackRest, Barman, pg_basebackup, and pg_dump.
  • Linux/Unix Environments: Proficiency in shell scripting and automation.
  • Database Security: Solid understanding of database security and compliance best practices.
