Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. As an SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or C#
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality code delivery
  • Analyze and report defects found during testing
  • Develop and maintain Test Automation Frameworks and Tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and at least 3 years of experience in Test Automation
  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web/UI applications using Selenium with Java or C#
  • Experience of working with Test Automation Frameworks and Tools (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, Maven/Gradle, POM)
  • Experience of coding in Java/Javascript/C#/Python
  • Experience of working in test management tools like TestRail, Jira or similar tools
  • Good knowledge of integration testing and Rest/SOA APIs using Postman/JMeter or similar tools
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and ability to implement them
  • Good knowledge of manual testing concepts, test case writing, STLC and SDLC
  • Exposure to SCM and CI/CD tools such as Git, SVN, GitLab, Jenkins
  • Exposure to Agile, Scrum methodologies, DevOps, and continuous testing practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in API Test Automation using Rest Assured, Rest Sharp or similar tools
  • Experience in Mobile Test Automation using Appium
  • Experience of using BrowserStack tool
