We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development of a scalable test automation framework.

This role is responsible for:

  • Designing and building a modular Playwright-based automation framework using C#.
  • Collaborating with development and QA teams to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Mentoring QA engineers on automation techniques and promoting best practices for test design and implementation.
  • Partnering with developers to ensure applications are testable, including advocating for unique element identifiers and test hooks.
  • Optimizing test execution speed and reliability through parallel execution, smart waits, and flaky test management.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 6+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2 years using Playwright or similar frameworks like Selenium.
  • Strong programming skills in C# with experience designing libraries and frameworks for test automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins, and integrating test automation into pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of the Page Object Model and test design patterns.
  • Ability to own the automation initiative end-to-end and proactively raise challenges.
  • Proven ability to lead framework development and influence cross-functional teams.

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience with MudBlazor or similar component libraries.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale QA processes and test planning.
  • Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with load/performance testing tools such as Artillery, k6, and JMeter.
