As a highly skilled automation professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software systems. You will create and execute automated test cases to guarantee that our software meets functional and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test new system software versions using cutting-edge automated testing tools, including functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance and regression testing on financial applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business needs.
  • Manage and report software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss issues and report on the status of testing.
  • Follow QA standards and policies.
  • Provide accurate estimates to support QA management in producing an effective schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to test various business scenarios and verify functionality to be implemented.
  • Maintain application versions and facilitate version upgrades in all environments.

Requirements:

  • Experience in fast-paced financial markets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • High motivation level and attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives markets.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
  • Experience with bug tracking software (e.g. Jira) and Test Case Management Tools.
  • Design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework to ensure the quality of a functional domain.
  • Ability to create new test cases based on requirements documents and guidance from the Product and Development teams.
  • Translate existing manual regression test cases into automated UFT tests.
  • Knowledge of financial products, e.g. FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, etc…
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, C++) is a plus.
