Job Description

This is a senior-level position that oversees the strategy and execution of IT application management.

  • Develop and implement overall IT application strategies to support business objectives.
  • Evaluate opportunities for modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Leverage new technologies and vendor solutions to optimize application portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of critical enterprise applications.
  • Manage application lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Monitor application performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into application requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with users regarding application updates, changes, and potential impacts.

Change Management:

  • Develop and execute change management plans for new application implementations or updates.
  • Provide user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new applications.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure applications adhere to data privacy, security, and compliance regulations.
  • Monitor for potential security risks and implement necessary mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing complex IT application portfolios and teams.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Expertise in various application technologies relevant to healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
