IT Application Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT application strategist to lead our team in delivering critical enterprise applications. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex IT application portfolios and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement overall IT application strategy, roadmap, and budget to support business objectives.
  • Evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions to optimize application portfolio.
  • Application Management:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of critical enterprise applications.
  • Manage application lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into application requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with users regarding application updates, changes, and potential impacts.
  • Change Management:
  • Develop and execute change management plans for new application implementations or updates.
  • Provide user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new applications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), expertise in various application technologies that relate to Pharma/Healthcare, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, project management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
