Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an overarching IT strategy, roadmap, and resource allocation plan to support business objectives.

  • Evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions to optimize the application portfolio, prioritizing innovation and efficiency.

Application Lifecycle Management:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of critical enterprise applications, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Manage the application lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and ongoing support, ensuring seamless delivery and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor application performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain high service levels.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into application requirements, ensuring effective communication and mutual understanding.
  • Communicate effectively with users regarding application updates, changes, and potential impacts, promoting transparency and trust.

Change Management:

  • Develop and execute change management plans for new application implementations or updates, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption.
  • Provide user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new applications, driving user confidence and productivity.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure applications adhere to data privacy, security, and compliance regulations, maintaining a robust risk posture and protecting sensitive information.
  • Monitor for potential security risks and implement necessary mitigation strategies, staying ahead of emerging threats.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing complex IT application portfolios and teams, with a strong track record of success
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Expertise in various application technologies that relate to Pharma/Healthcare
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Project management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget
