Software Engineer Position

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of Windows applications on Snapdragon platforms. As a key player in our expanding initiative, you will help enable, debug, port, and enhance applications running under the Windows OS environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support partners and customers in bringing up applications successfully on Windows on Snapdragon (WoS) platform
  • Assist with debugging and resolving software issues related to application performance or compatibility
  • Port and enhance existing applications to optimize them for the Snapdragon architecture
  • Research independently and provide hands-on technical solutions with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate closely with various internal teams including development, test, product management, and customer engineering
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience in software applications engineering or development
  • OR Master's degree in a relevant field and 1+ year of experience
  • OR PhD in a relevant field
  • Experience with C/C++ development for Windows applications, familiarity with open-source project integration and build systems, and strong understanding of Windows OS basics and internals
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Solid experience in C/C++ development for Windows applications
  • Familiarity with debugging tools, including Visual Studio, WinDBG, Event Viewer, PerfMon, and embedded application debugging skills on Windows-based systems
  • Prior experience in working with Snapdragon platforms and cross-platform porting and application migration is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
