Regional Cybersecurity Lead

The Regional Cybersecurity Lead plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the digital landscape of one or several countries or subsidiaries within their designated region. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity-related matters, ensuring seamless communication between the organization and various stakeholders.

About this Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Cybersecurity Point of Contact:
    • Serve as the principal liaison for all cybersecurity matters, including audits, risk assessments, and incident response.
    • Maintain open lines of communication with regional sites, ensuring prompt resolution of any cybersecurity concerns.
  • Cybersecurity Management:
    • Functionally manage regional Sites Cybersecurity Officers, providing guidance on Valeo ISSP implementation, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
    • Evaluate and enhance regional cybersecurity posture through regular assessments and action plans.
  • Cybersecurity Incident Response:
    • Coordinate swift resolution of incidents, collaborating closely with regional Sites Cybersecurity Officers and Group CIRT.
    • Ensure timely reporting and documentation of all non-compliance issues, abnormal events, and cybersecurity incidents.
Requirements
  • Experience: Above 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, preferably in an international company with a multicultural environment.
  • Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience linked to cybersecurity standards (ISO 2700x, NIST, NIS…)
  • Technical expertise in areas such as malware, patch management, firewalling, infrastructure, networks, systems, databases, and applications.
  • Proven team management experience.
