Expert SAP EWM Technical Consultant

  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP EWM architecture, technical objects, and warehouse processes.
  • Design and implement SAP EWM developments across multiple projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs.
  • Develop custom enhancements using ABAP, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, and EWM-specific objects, guiding the team on RF development, SmartForms, and performance-optimized coding.
  • Review code quality, enforce development best practices, and mentor junior developers, providing expertise in system performance tuning, debugging, and issue resolution.
  • Own integration scenarios between EWM and modules like MM, SD, TM, and external systems via IDoc, RFC, Proxy, etc., supporting full-cycle implementation: blueprinting, development, testing, go-live, and hypercare.
Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with 4+ years focused on EWM, including hands-on experience in RFUI development, SmartForms, WebDynpro/FPM, and OO ABAP.
  • In-depth understanding of Warehouse Orders/Tasks, queues, and resource/process management, proven experience in SAP S/4HANA EWM (embedded or decentralized).
  • Strong integration experience (IDoc/ALE, BAPIs, OData services, Web Services), experience in leading development teams, code reviews, and project deliveries.
