Business Intelligence Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing master data sets, developing reports, and resolving data-related issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Creating, updating, and deleting data sets.
  • User Administration: Managing users and user roles.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy of imported data and collaborating with quality assurance analysts as needed.
  • Data Lifecycle Management: Commissioning and decommissioning data sets.
  • Confidentiality: Handling confidential data and information in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Reporting Development: Contributing to the development of reports and analyses.
  • Reporting Environment: Designing and managing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Data Warehouse Support: Collaborating with the data warehouse team to identify and revise reporting requirements.
  • Data Integrity: Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Technical Expertise: Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience: As a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a related field.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Tool Analysis: Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Methodologies: Understanding of methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Data Handling: Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Standards Knowledge: Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
