About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to make a significant contribution to our organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare Budgets and Financial Plans: Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets, as well as rolling forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Take ownership of project invoicing, tax issues, bonds, guarantees, and financial accounting. Drive optimization of project cash flow, revenues, and GM contribution with the Central Cost Controller/Project Manager.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Participate in identifying opportunities and risks, ensuring timely implementation of mitigation actions. Collaborate on monthly project reviews with the PM/Central Controller/PSCM.
  • Commercial Awareness: Promote commercial awareness within the project team and provide commercial input to the project execution plan.
  • Client Coordination: Coordinate with clients for invoice approvals, payments, and compliance purposes.
  • Billing Register Maintenance: Maintain an updated billing register capturing details of all billings, approval status, payments, deductions, and follow-up to collect deducted amounts.
  • Site Expense Monitoring: Monitor site expenses strictly and report weekly project expenses in a specified format, reconciling SAP entries with invoices.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze actual vs. budget costs and revenue on the project, highlighting potential issues to the controller manager and project managers.
  • Project Actualisation (Actua): Lead project actualization activities at HO-defined frequency, coordinating with the project team to obtain required data, discussing with the controller manager to prepare finance-related slides for Actua presentation, and uploading Actua in SAP after approval.
  • Kappa Review: Review Kappa against budgeted costs, highlighting costs exceeding the budget, and verifying that adequate documents are attached with Kappa.
  • Monthly Business Review: Share project slides for monthly business review in accordance with timeline defined by the project team, keeping the controller manager informed.
  • Provisions Check: Conduct a comprehensive check on provisions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with accounting rules and HO instructions.
  • Cash Verification: Perform monthly cash verification and surprise verification at least once a month, reporting results to the HO team (controller manager and IFC team).
  • Internal Financial Controls: Lead and supervise compliance with Internal Financial Controls (IFC) as defined by HO in the Risk and Control Matrix (RCM).
  • Guarantees and Insurances: Monitor ABG, PBG, and other guarantees/insurances to ensure timely renewal and reduction as per contractual conditions.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Team Support: Provide support to the execution team and be an integral part of the project team, offering core finance support for all finance-related matters on site.
  • Man Days Filling: Timely fill man days for self against respective projects.
  • Timesheet Supervision: Supervise day-to-day work of site accountants, providing guidance and support for efficient conduct of site tasks.
  • Central Controlling Team Support: Support the central controlling team on various analyses and ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• MBA Finance / CA-Inter / ICWA degree or equivalent experience
• Total Experience: 6 to 10 Years
