Technical Support Specialist

The role of the Technical Support Specialist is to provide technical assistance and support to our users. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring that all technical systems are functioning properly.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our users, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring that all technical systems are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support to users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot common IT problems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform basic Windows administration tasks such as password resets and file and folder administration.
  • Basic internet connection troubleshooting.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to senior technicians or other IT specialists as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3-4 years' experience in customer service or a help desk environment; interest in IT field a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.
