Senior Technical Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Test Engineering professional to lead our team in executing software testing activities and developing automation scripts.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our organization as a Technical Lead, Software Testing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of all software testing activities related to product functionality validation, developing and integrating automatic test scripts, launching and analyzing test campaigns, and creating campaign reports.

• Lead the team to execute software tests activities
• Develop and integrate FW SW automatic tests scripts
• Launch and analyze test campaigns on different test benches
• Create campaign reports and submit them to the Project Test Leader
• Create Bug Reports and Change Requests and follow their evolution with the RD team
• Take part in the Scripts code reviews
• Provide a complete and synthetic test report
• Ensure traceability of end-to-end tests up to the specification
• Create and follow defects
• Contribute to defects analysis and resolution
• Prepare and contribute to internal or external events

• Engineering degree in Software development, Automatism, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
• At least 13 years of experience in software development and testing
• Solid technical experience in Industrial Automation and digital solutions
• Strong technical knowledge in programming languages: C++, Python, TCL / TK
• Industrial automation domain background with PLC programming, Scada programming, System integration
• Knowledge of any one of plc programming languages like structure text, FB, IL
• Knowledge of integration of product with any field bus protocol like Ethernet, ProfiNet, CANOpen, Profibus
• Technical knowledge in PLC programming software: Control Expert, Unity, SoMachine, Codesys, Step7, TiaPortal, Sycon
• Technical curiosity about industrial fields: PLC programming, Communication fieldbus, industrial applications
• Experience with PLC programming languages like Ladder Diagram, Functional Block diagram, Structured Text, sequential function charts
• Understanding of customer application needs and behaviors
• Knowledge on development process: Agile, Scrum, PMP, PEP
• Knowledge of engineering tools: Rational Clear Quest, Jira, DevOps, Github
• Knowledge on automatic test software: Test Stand, Test Complete, Robot Framework
• Knowledge on real-time embedded and integrated communication bus architectures
• Good understanding of verification and Validation product life cycle
• Basic knowledge on motors and their characteristics
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and matrix project execution organization integrating Agile methods
• Networking capabilities both internally within Schneider-Electric and externally
• A good level of English read, written and spoken
