Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Lead - Technical & People Leadership to transform our product vision into operational code. You will be a key contributor in designing and developing an integrated product suite of enterprise applications in the EV Charging Network domain. This is a full-time Technical & People Manager role requiring hands-on development expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and leadership in technical design and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical & People Leader , you will:

  • Own the technical design and implementation of multiple product components.
  • Design, develop, and deliver web and mobile applications with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Managing and mentoring team members to support their professional growth and development
  • Conducting regular performance appraisals and providing constructive feedback
  • Setting and tracking KPIs to ensure team alignment with organizational goals
  • Driving team engagement, collaboration, and accountability
  • Supporting hiring, onboarding, and career progression initiatives
  • Fostering a culture of reliability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Create design documents, implement product features, and develop unit tests.
  • Optimize applications for scalability and performance.
  • Provide accurate project estimations and lead technical issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
  • Advocate for best-in-class technology solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Ensure compliance with security practices and advocate for security across all aspects of development.
  • Mentor and cross-train Java developers on product features and best practices.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of software development experience.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing Software Dev team, overseeing performance appraisals, KPIs, and professional development.
  • Proficiency in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, and Hibernate .
  • Expertise in distributed systems including Redis , ActiveMQ/Kafka , and Elastic Search .
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs , SQL , and No-SQL databases .
  • Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and implementation.
  • Familiarity with tools like GitHub/Bitbucket , Jira , SonarCloud , and CI/CD processes .
  • Experience working with Linux environments.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS , Docker , Kubernetes , and RDS .
  • Familiarity with APM tools like Stackify or NewRelic .
  • Experience in Electric Grid Management Solutions .
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks.
