We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to join our team. As a Senior Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of software applications.
You will work closely with project team members, including scrum masters, architects, product owners, analysts, testers, and functional managers, as well as coordinate and lead interfaces with other groups.
Key responsibilities include leading architecture, design, and development of a functional track, completing proof of concepts, and managing the creation of detail design and use case documents.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree. They will also have solid understanding of database technologies and SQL, exposure to Non-SQL database technologies, and proven problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will engage in technical design of solutions based on use cases and business requirements, ensuring inclusion of Visa's business vision, current business environment, technology, and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree
- Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL
- Exposure to Non-SQL database technologies
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Expert in Java with experience in REST APIs, distributed systems, and exposure to container-based technologies
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka
This is a hybrid position, and the expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
