Job Title : Senior Technical Lead - Salesforce

Exp Level : 7 to 10 years of experience

Job Summary :

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for leading technical development and support activities for Salesforce applications and systems as part of the Application Support Services provided to clients. The ideal candidate would have extensive technical experience in Salesforce, excellent problem-solving skills, and an ability to work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and end-users.

Responsibilities :

- Configure prototypes in a Salesforce sandbox environment (non-production) for CPQ & Billing renewal and amendment use cases, and provide solution guidance for additional lead-to-cash use cases in Salesforce

- Lead and manage the technical team in providing development and support services for Salesforce applications.

- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Provide technical support and guidance to the development team, including analysis, troubleshooting, and working on technical issues related to the Salesforce platform.

- Develop and enhance Salesforce solutions, including creating custom objects, workflows, and validation rules.

- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems and platforms.

- Participate in project planning and management for Salesforce technical activities.

- Mentor and train technical team members in Salesforce development best practices and standards

- Maintain effective stakeholder relationships, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction with technical deliveries.

- Act as a subject matter expert providing guidance to stakeholders on technical solutions and Salesforce best practices.

- Continuously evaluate and improve technical processes and methodologies to achieve greater efficiency and quality in Salesforce application support services.

- Being willing to work outside of your scheduled shift or taking on extra hours to ensure the success of a project or meet the needs of customers in different time zones.

- Working effectively with team members across different shifts to ensure that projects are completed seamlessly without any issues.

- Managing time and tasks effectively to complete assigned duties within the scheduled shift timings.

Requirements :

- Salesforce development (preferably Sales Cloud & CPQ/Billing)

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant field

- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Salesforce application development and administration

- Excellent knowledge of Salesforce products and services such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Education Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud, Salesforce Omnistudio, Marketing Cloud, and Force.com

- Strong expertise in Salesforce technical aspects, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL

- Experience in developing Salesforce integrations with third-party systems and platforms.

- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML

- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall

- Strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex issues and provide creative solutions.

- Experience in training and mentoring technical team members.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator would be preferred.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology would be preferred.

Overall, the senior technical lead is a critical role that requires extensive technical expertise in Salesforce, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
