Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is a global leader in business transformation, leveraging technology to address a wide range of business needs. They provide a variety of services, including consulting, technology, professional, and outsourcing services.

The position involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform. The successful candidate will develop and maintain configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Ruby, and automate CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Ruby.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline operations and support self-service capabilities.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage container lifecycle.
  • Support application migration to cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory standards in the payments domain.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby for configuration management.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Scripting experience with Python.
  • Experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
  • Familiarity with Payments systems and PCI DSS compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in application migration to cloud platforms.
