Azure / AWS Cloud Engineer

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled cloud engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both Azure and AWS cloud platforms and be proficient in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure DevOps pipelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep, and collaborating with software developers, QA teams, and IT staff to oversee code releases.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is able to automate repetitive operational tasks for faster and error-free deployments, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines and related infrastructure, manage source control, branching strategies, and versioning using Git or TFVC, and ensure proper configuration management and system integrity throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and familiarity with cloud computing concepts and Microsoft Azure services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Azure DevOps: Proven experience with Azure DevOps including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Test Plans.
  • CLOUD COMPUTING: Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and best practices.
  • SCRIPTING LANGUAGES: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • IAC TOOL: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep, or similar.
  • CONTAINERIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Solid knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • VERSION CONTROL SYSTEMS: Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • MONITORING AND LOGGING TOOLS: Experience with monitoring and logging tools within Azure ecosystem.
  • AGILE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGIES: Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
