Industrial Quality Excellence

Drive manufacturing excellence through robust quality standards and rigorous compliance management.

  • Ensure product quality adherence to customer and internal specifications, minimizing defects and external demerits.
  • Implement industrial quality standards across all manufacturing processes to achieve zero defects and optimize productivity.

Key Accountabilities:

As a Process Industrial Quality Manager, you will oversee industrial quality activities in relevant workshops, manage people, process, and performance metrics. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing Defect per Unit (DPU) and External Demerit analysis to drive efficient line quality operations.
  • Supporting decision-making for handovers (GO/NO GO) and maintaining NO GO veto rights.
  • Stopping production when necessary due to safety impact or rework requirements.
  • Participating in Criticality Matrix analysis and contributing to Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
  • Leading FARs and participating in FMR/SMRs.
  • Developing and updating Quality Control Plans during pre-serial manufacturing activities.
  • Ensuring availability of car history books and compliance with manufactured products before shipping.

Industries:

Industrial Quality Engineering / Technician

  • Support the PIQ in their scope by managing internal NCRs, characterizing problems, and applying problem-solving methodologies.
  • Manage workstations dynamically using Self-Inspection and Workstation Inspection checklists.
  • Perform workstation audits and follow-ups.
  • Participate in customer inspections and qualify manufacturing teams regarding self-inspections.

Performance Metrics:

The ideal candidate will be measured on the following key performance indicators:

  • Reducing External Demerits, Defects per Unit, and First Pass Yield.
  • Decreasing Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ) per unit.
  • Improving APSYS scores for Industrial Quality requirements.
