Job Title: Database Developer

  • We are seeking an experienced Database Developer with a strong background in database management systems and software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient database solutions that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database schema, data models, and query optimization techniques.
  • Perform thorough analysis and testing of database performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for optimizing database performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to database development.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above preferred).
  • Strong experience with SSIS package development, SQL Server Job creation, Stored Procedure troubleshooting, Views, and query performance tuning.
  • Expertise in writing and debugging complex stored procedures, views, and T-SQL scripts.
  • Experience in performance tuning and analyzing query execution plans.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and indexing strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SSRS or other reporting tools is a plus.
  • Exposure to Azure SQL, Power BI, or NoSQL databases is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with source control tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
