Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our lending services division as a Loan Operations Specialist.

This role involves working closely with US-based clients to ensure timely and accurate loan servicing, which is critical to maintaining strong business relationships and driving growth in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze commercial loan documentation to identify key terms and requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Enter loan details into the system of record, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, rate, repayment, accrual, collateral, etc., requiring attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understand and interpret the bank's credit approval document and any applicable credit write-up, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Analyze complex loan structures and documentation, including large syndicated transactions, showcasing ability to navigate intricate financial deals.
  • Translate key terms from commercial loan documentation into the system of record, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data entry.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activities for the bank's direct/bilateral/syndicated loan portfolio, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Monitor and perform system input as needed for the timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes, requiring technical skills and adaptability.
  • Collaborate with agent banks to balance and resolve any issues within the portfolio, fostering strong partnerships and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Receive and respond to daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients, demonstrating proactive communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Analyze and resolve daily exception reports, determining necessary monetary and system maintenance required for resolution, showcasing analytical and technical skills.
