Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the stability of products through continuous monitoring using internal tools.
  • Take ownership of L1/L2 support for all hosting products, providing comprehensive solutions to customers.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes for various products and services.
  • Communicate effectively with customers through tickets and phone calls, addressing their concerns and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in resolving problems, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
  • Develop advanced automation workflows to automate repetitive tasks, enhancing productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

A successful candidate will possess:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux Systems, including Any Shell/Bash, sed/awk/grep/egrep, VI/VIM/Emacs, netstat, lsof, strace, ps/top/atop/dstat, grub boot config & systems rescue, fstab/disk labels, ext3/ext4, IPtables, sysstat (sar/vmstat/iostat etc), run-levels & startup scripts, sudo/chroot/chkrootkit/rkhunter.
  • Fundamentals: Basic DNS & Networking, TCP/UDP, IP Routing, HA & Load Balancing Concepts.
  • Application Protocols: SMTP,HTTP,FTP,IMAP,POP.
