Job Summary:

 

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high availability of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management
    • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Collaborate with SRE and Platform teams to support enterprise systems and cloud-based applications.
  • Kubernetes Administration
    • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability and reliability.
    • Apply security patches, configure network policies, and optimize cluster performance.
  • Security & Compliance
    • Ensure alignment with internal security and compliance policies by applying updates and security patches to cloud-based environments.
    • Implement monitoring and logging tools to detect potential security threats.
  • Automation & Orchestration
    • Develop automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Bash, or Python to streamline cloud infrastructure management.
    • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and testing.
  • Incident & Case Management
    • Manage service tickets effectively using tools like ServiceNow or Salesforce.
    • Collaborate with global teams to resolve technical issues and improve incident response.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent). Certifications like RHCSA or RHCE are beneficial.
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience in Kubernetes administration. Certifications like CKA or CKS are an advantage.
  • Experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Good understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers including hardware, OS, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Bash, or Python is beneficial.
