Job Title: Irrigation Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled irrigation infrastructure specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, analyzing, and preparing drawings for complex irrigation systems such as dams, barrages, micro-irrigation systems, canal networks, and related hydraulic structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop comprehensive irrigation infrastructure plans, including dams, barrages, weirs, spillways, and intake systems.
  • Develop detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including survey, GIS, and geotechnical teams, to ensure integrated designs.
  • Prepare hydraulic modeling, flow calculations, and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Support the preparation of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports) and coordinate with clients.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with WRD, CWC, Govt Guidelines, and state irrigation department practices.
  • Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.
