**Job Title:** Automotive Smart Plant Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the establishment, stabilization, and optimization of manufacturing processes using modern production management (MOM) and Industry 4.0 concepts. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in production shopfloor.

Industry Focus: Automotive / Electric Vehicle (EV) including Battery Pack Assembly; Gigafactory (Cell Manufacturing)

Required Experience: 7-13 years in a related field.

Smart Plant Functional Expertise:

  • Assess MES capability and formulate functional architecture and requirements.
  • Evaluate MES platforms based on fitment across strategic, financial, and functional pillars.
  • Knowledge of MES tools like Siemens, NEXEED, PTC, or Dassault is beneficial.
  • Identify areas for improvement, mine digital use cases, and develop strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and reduce costs.
  • Consult clients on automation, IoT, and data analytics in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms like Insights Hub, Azure, AWS is beneficial.
  • Utilize data analytics to extract insights from production data, make data-driven decisions, and manage performance indicators.

Consulting Skills:

  • Experience creating and leading client proposals with a mix of capability and industry point of view.
  • Thought leadership demonstrating deep industry knowledge and innovation in manufacturing through point of views and assets.
  • Strong business development appetite while scanning market movements and creating growth opportunities.
  • Effective project management with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in production management, business management, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
  • MBA from a top-tier institute is beneficial but not required.
  • Proven experience in Battery or EV OEM or consulting industry in Smart Plant vertical.
